My Story

Alessi Johnson obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Communication, from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Alessi is a Author, Speaker, and Career Coach. She is coauthor of one of Amazon's Best Selling books, "Power Moms 3.0," released in November of 2020. Alessi's career started out in Radio, as she worked as an On-Air Personality for an Urban Radio format, which broadcasts throughout Southwest Louisiana. Often referred to as an “Old Soul,” Alessi became the youngest African American female to grace the airwaves of an Urban Radio format geared towards a demographic of listeners ages 30 years or older at the age of 23.
 
After two years of working in Radio, Alessi switched gears and began working in the field of Social Services. In Alessi’s work in Social Services, she has been recognized for her accomplishments as an “Outstanding Mentor” for serving at- risk youth in the Greater Dallas/Fort Worth area. It was during Alessi's previous work as a Career Coach serving underprivileged women and men, where she learned about coaching and decided to pursue a certification as a Life Coach. 

 

In June of 2022, Alessi completed her Life Coach Certification and is ready to serve, offering her gift of Mentorship and her service to Empower!
